One of many Kathy Reichs books from a charity shop that I thought I'd try. First thing to note is it is nothing like the "Bones" TV Show. The characters are different, the setting is different - even the country is different!
On to the story ...
You can read the blurb, and that gives you the overview quite nicely. What it doesn't tell you I'd the dark nature of the story. It can be quite challenging in places but I'll say no more to keep the spoilers to a minimum. Suffice it to say this is a book for adults.
A minor complaint: the chapter breaks are always mini-cliffhangers towards the end, which gets a bit annoying.
Was it a good read? Yes
Would I read it again? Probably not
